The MTC – A Case Study

As well as undertaking one-off cleaning and servicing projects, Ductbusters has a roster of long-standing clients, with whom we have close working relationships. As part of this, we perform scheduled maintenance and servicing to ensure that ductwork is kept at the required standard.

One such client is the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) and its fellow organisations ARC, AMTC, MCE and SOPWITH. The MTC facilitates training for the UK’s next generation of engineers, as such, it’s vital that standards are maintained to ensure the safety of students in environments that operate advanced industrial machinery.

Ductbusters currently tests fire dampers across the five sites as part of a three-year contract to uphold safety standards. The consequences of poor fire damper maintenance are well documented and keeping systems operational is vital.

Through Ductbusters, the MTC and its partners are able to ensure they adhere to necessary standards and keep their students’ welfare at the core of their operations.

We are capable of adapting our unbeatable services to suit any environment or industry and uphold contracts such as this with a substantial list of prestigious clients.
