Enjoying the Heritage of Kidderminster: A Morning out with Severn Valley Railway
Our Managing Director, Gemma Quinn, and Business Development Manager Kerry O’Brien were delighted to be invited to a corporate day ran by Severn Valley Railway last week.
The event saw shareholders and current and prospective clients to take a ride from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth on the observation carriage of a GWR 1450.
The Severn Valley Railway is one of the most popular heritage railways in the country, alongside being the sixth-longest standard gauge heritage line in the United Kingdom!
With the line completed in 1862 after four years of construction, the railway has been serving as a tourist attraction for 50 years now, and often partners with local and national companies to provide corporate events and team building days in return for their support.
Both Gemma and Kerry were treated to a delightful continental breakfast spread, alongside stunning views of Shropshire, Worcestershire and the River Severn.
We’d like to thank Severn Valley Railway for their excellent hospitality and are proud to support them and the local history of Kidderminster going forward.
