Overview:

Taking a responsible role, you will oversee the actions of the Sites Engineer’s Mate at all times, conducting all work necessary to the Ductbusters standards and values.

Ductbusters is a growing and vibrant company, with a newly established Southern branch and a more than sixty-strong team.

Responsibilities and duties

Operate and promote safe working on site

  • Ensure all work is carried out in-line with approved method statements and that the Sites Engineer’s Mate has been briefed and understood
  • Discuss any changes or amendments to method statements with Site Supervisor
  • Carry out checks on all equipment
  • Ensure a safe place of work
  • Actively forward plan work activities
  • Lead by example to others on site
  • Ensure supervision of the Sites Engineer’s Mate at all times
  • Ensure our people work to the Ductbusters values and respect the public and their surroundings
  • Don’t leave Sites Engineer’s Mates unsupervised, if the need to leave arises, stop the work and contact the Site Supervisor

 Ensure the completion of works on time

  • Co-ordinate and supervise the daily activities of Sites Engineer’s Mates by implementing best practice at all times
  • Share and pass on knowledge to teams
  • Ensure documentation is properly completed in line with customer/company requirements

 Forward planning on equipment and material needs

  • Communicate with Quality Supervisor regarding equipment and material needs at an early stage
  • Feed back to site management on any equipment no longer required

 Personal Development

  • Ensure your own personal development through attendance and online courses is kept up to date
